More information on the methods of sending a request to receiver device can be found here:
https://wallboard.info/knowledge-base/http-server

Authentication:

More information about the authentication can be found here:

Example:

The easiest way to execute an API call you need to set up a touch action for your widget which will execute the call.

GET

Sent fields type: Static value

API Url:

(This is just an example, your variables could be different)

http://<DEVICEIP>:<PORT>/api/sensor/event?event={event}&id={id}&value={value}

In this way, the Editor will replace the variables in the URL from the sent fields.

POST

Sent fields type: Static value

API Url:

(This is just an example, your variables could be different)

http://<DEVICEIP>:<PORT>/api/sensor/event

Your POST requests’ body will be your sent fields values and names.

Watch out to set your sent fields’ names correctly!
